DVB RACING – who are we and what do we do ?

DVB RACING was launched 10 years ago and during its first decade thanks to a host of victories and titles has claimed some extremely positive results in motorsport. Out of its kind this Belgian race team is highly polyvalent offering drivers a wide range of possibilities. Next to the assistance offered to the drivers and cars prior to, during and after the races, the team is also open to providing numerous other possibilities.

*With regard to rental DVB RACING boasts its very own professional and up-to-date fleet, however drivers with their own cars are obviously more than welcome to call on the services of DVB RACING. These cars also undergo preparation with the greatest of care and attention.

*The drivers are professionally taken in hand by an extremely experienced crew. Both professional and gentlemen drivers and up-coming talents can count on the expertise and in depth know-how that DVB RACING has gathered over the previous decade.

* It goes without saying that the necessary attention is also given to the sponsors and VIPs of the relevant driver. These also receive preferential treatment and are closely implicated in the overall package.

*In addition DVB RACING offers drivers the possibility to sharpen their experience during incentives and track days either with their own or alternatively with a team’s car. With DVB RACING circuit baptisms with sponsors on board are a set ritual.

*Consequently you create a win-win collaboration with DVB RACING, and this via a wide scope of possibilities, ranging from a partnership through to VIP, corporate events and individual circuit coaching via track days and incentives.

Why opt for DVB RACING ?

Anyone in motorsport looking to work with the top or grow on through also automatically goes in search of a professional structure, whereby apart from the technical aspects the drivers, as also their sponsors, partners and VIPs are guided with the required competence. In this context DVB RACING is an outsider who, within a highly professional structure, not only has an eye for detail but especially for communication and dialogue.

Since DVB RACING saw the light of day with its own structure back in 2005 the Belgian team’s growth curve has spiralled with numerous victories and titles in GT, Touring and Cup races. For the Willebroek based team no challenge is left untouched and with a team of top mechanics and a passionate management the finest details are never overlooked.

All those looking to compete in top sport at a national or international level would not find a better address than with DVB RACING and this driven team has proved it time and again.

Action partnership 2016 !

Become a DVB RACING partner Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum before the 30-04-2015 and you will receive – depending on the partnership inscription extra VIP vouchers.

Enter into a competitive partnership !

Entering into a partnership in motorsport with such an experienced team as DVB RACING is unique in its own right. The offer and possibilities are near on inexhaustible and the return is guaranteed. As such with DVB RACING you can define how far you go, allowing you and your own partners or potential partners to experience the best day of their life in a homely atmosphere. DVB RACING acts as the bridge between sport, recreation and the business world.

You could never come into closer contact with a sport than as a partner of DVB RACING in motorsport. Stronger still, you could be seated right in the middle of it, through among others sitting next to an experienced professional driver completing several laps on the world’s greatest circuits, Spa-Francorchamps or at Circuit Zolder. Following which climbing behind the wheel yourself and driving a competition car of the Porsche GT3 Cup version or an open KTM X-Bow during one of the incentive or track days. Let your adrenaline flow freely.

You could invite a partner for an evening of football, but kicking a ball around yourself or having a convivial chat with the gladiators and having a quick look behind the scenes is out of the question. On the other hand with DVB RACING this is clearly possible during the races, or on an incentive or a track day.

During the race weekends the partner is as it were absorbed into the team and has the possibility of organising a meet and greet with the drivers prior to watching the races in professional surroundings and with culinary treats. This allows the partners the possibility to get down to doing some business with their own guests in a relaxed environment.

 Take the first step !

Take the first step to something new, something enriching, something out of the ordinary and that up until now has appeared to be inaccessible. With DVB RACING you will discover the missing link between business and adventure where as it were, together with your partners, are absorbed into team in which you become a fully-fledged component. Enjoy and spoil your guests, thereby generating maximum exposure without being obliged to invest astronomical sums.

The possibilities are endless

Naturally DVB RACING works out a made-to-measure collaboration in mutual consultation. Among the various possibilities available :

A VIP-welcome of your guests in the loges at Circuit Zolder or in a mobile structure at Spa-Francorchamps.

– Entry to the paddock and the DVB RACING pitbox for you and your guests, so that they become as one with the action so to speak. Because partners are part and parcel of the team; a brief chat with the drivers, watching the team in action during a tyre change or joining in the celebrations after a successful race: everything is possible.

– Race-incentives whereby you and your guests can experience the thrills and sensations of a racing car with one of the drivers behind the wheel.

– Via name notoriety on the team’s car. This can range from a simple logo on the car to full exclusivity, both on the car as also the team’s equipment.

– A racing car in your showroom or on your trade fair stand.

Professionally maintained relations with the media via press releases, presence on such social medias such as Twitter or Facebook, both in word and images.

Are you Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze ?

For us you are not a sponsor, but a fully-fledged partner. Seeing not everyone has the same wishes and targets, you can choose between various levels of partnership : Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. For companies wishing to have an insight into motorsport and have little experience of sport-partnership, we also offer the Rookie option. It goes without saying that each formula can also be tailor-made with additional possibilities, which are not mentioned in this brochure.

DVB RACING claims victory with Koen Wauters in the third Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux meeting

Koen Wauters back in the running for the title!

2016_PCC_Zandvoort_62

During the Porsche Racing Days @ Zandvoort, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux enjoyed their fifth and sixth race of the year. DVB RACING headed off for the North Sea in the Netherlands with Koen Wauters, while the Willebroek based team had also entered four other Porsche 911 in the Zandvoort Porsche Trophy, a one-hour race for all models of the legendary German make. On the sporting front it was a success with the victories of Koen Wauters in the first and second race of the weekend, while the Turkish drivers also collected some podium and honourable places.

2016_PCC_Zandvoort_7

Finally”, was the sigh of relief that Koen Wauters uttered following the first race of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux in Zandvoort. In the first race of the Porsche Racing Days @ Zandvoort, the driver defending the DVB RACING colours clinched an excellent win in the Gentlemen Trophy and finished in a strong third place overall, behind the Frenchman Alexandre Jouannem and Yannick Hoogaars.

Koen Wauters: “My first qualifying was not an immediate success and on top of that following a decision from the Clerk of the Course I was obliged to start near the back of the grid. Just after the green light everything turned sour for me. Some four cars collided creating some substantial havoc. I was just able to stop and then continued systematically building up my pace. Due to impatience you can lose a Cup race such as this one at any given moment. The car was running perfectly and place after place I moved on up through the pack. I finally made it through to the overall podium and claimed the Gentlemen class. I would be delighted with such a result in every race. Taking into account the result of certain competitors I have come out well in the championship, a championship that had a difficult start. It’s now a question of confirming this during the second race of the day. I will be starting further forward on the grid and that has its advantages, but there is also a greater chance of incidents.

2016_PCC_Zandvoort_81

Also during the second race Koen Wauters was outstanding. At the wheel of his beautiful Porsche 991 GT3 Cup he once again claimed victory in the Gentlemen Trophy, with a fully deserved second place in the overall classification.

Koen Wauters: “This weekend has put me back on the rails for the remainder of the season. I must thank my partners and the team for their support, and I offer them this result as a ‘thank you’. This is a great competition and I’m already looking forward to the rest of the season starting off at the beginning of September!”

Porsche Trophy

Cengiz Oguzhan, Cenk Ceyisakar, Arif Suyabatmaz and Yadel Oskan were competing on behalf of DVB RACING in the semi-endurance at Circuit Park Zandvoort and respectively finished in 2nd, 4th, 5th and 7th place in the one-hour race. We will come across them again this season in the Porsche GT3 Cup Benelux.

The Porsche Racing Days @ Zandvoort weekend was a brilliant success. The perfect weather, the numerous Porsche enthusiasts and the thrilling races were the ingredients of a more than successful event. The alternation between the modern Porsche racing machines on the track, with such historic cars as the Le Mans Porsche 962 or Porsche 911 GT1 as also the participants in the various courses and experiences worked extremely well. For two full days Circuit Park Zandvoort breathed Porsche machinery.

DVB RACING claims victory in second Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux

Alexandre Jouannem grabs victory

For the second meeting of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux the rendezvous was once again on the brilliant Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the Belgian Ardennes. DVB RACING entered no less than six cars, two Porsche 991 GT3 Cup for Koen Wauters and the promising Frenchman Alexandre Jouannem, and four Porsche 997 GT3 Cup for GO Motorsports with four fast drivers from Turkey. Add to that another two cars in the Belcar and the Willebroek based team had their hands full during these last three days in the Ardennes. In the fastest one-make cup of the Benelux Jouannem grabbed a brilliant victory, while Koen Wauters finished in seventh spot. Cenk Ceyisakar was twice the best in the 997 Trophy, the classification for the previous Porsche generation.

DVB1

34 identical Porsche 911 at the start: that was the menu for the second meeting of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux in Spa. The field was undoubtedly the most impressive of the 2016 edition of the Spa Euro Race, and once again the races were truly spectacular. The first race was a disappointment for Koen Wauters and Alexandre Jouannem, with a double retirement following numerous race incidents.

Koen Wauters: “Once again I was nudged out … This beginning of the season appears to be bewitched and on top of that … once again in the same curve. I truly want this string of bad luck to come to an end … I had in fact taken a brilliant start, climbing up from 18th on the grid to 6th place.

But also during the second race it appeared as though matters were going amiss for Koen Wauters in the colours of Porsche Centre Mechelen. “I was somewhat too optimistic during overtaking and hit Dylan Derdaele’s car and I spun round. The engine conked out and I re-joined the race at the back of the pack. Then with the knife between my teeth I put full pressure on myself and still managed to finish in seventh place. Not the place I had set my sights on, but this must surely be a turning point. We are now going to go flat out in Zandvoort and I’m determined to finish there up front.

In the meanwhile Alexandre Jouannem was battling it out up front with Dylan Pereira and Dylan Derdaele, who in the last few meters came into contact with one another “and then the way lay wide open for me to claim my first victory”, the young talent commented. “I’m awarding this win to the entire team, because they provided me with a fabulous car and I was able to complete the assignment. Rendezvous now in Zandvoort!

The Turkish colleagues also experienced fun in their race within the race and victory went twice to Cenk Ceyisakar.

Belcar Trophy

In the second round of the Belcar Trophy DVB RACING had entered the Ferrari 458 Challenge for the Thiers brothers and the KTM X-Bow for Mezquita and Weisshaupt. While the open GT4 disappeared out of the race following a black flag, the West-Flanders brothers brought their car home in a marvellous third place overall and second in the GT class.

DVB RACING part and parcel of the motorsport feast at Spa-Francorchamps.

Race incidents during the first race determine the result.

During the opening weekend of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux everything was on hand to make it a true motorsport feast. Large number of spectators, glorious spring sunshine, a full grid and brilliant races. Unfortunately for DVB RACING and Koen Wauters matters did not go as expected during the first race of the season on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Two race incidents, entirely outside of the driver’s responsibility, meant that from a pure result point of view the fist weekend was a disappointment, but on the other hand a fair number of positive lessons were learnt providing legitimate ambitions for the future races.

eurol

Black and white un qualifying

Rarely have we seen a driver being quite so honest with himself, just after the qualifying sessions for both races of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux. The 20-minute sessions are held immediately one after the other; in near-on identical conditions and yet in the second session Koen Wauters was 2 full seconds faster than in the first …

Koen Wauters: “I was really angry with myself in the car. I said to myself Koen, stop reflecting and just start driving boy. There are moments when I think too much instead of pushing on the accelerator. That’s exactly what I did in the second session and claimed pole position in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux. As for the first session, it means taking the start from the middle of the pack and that could have its risks.

Racing is not a science

The words had hardly left Koen Wauters’ lips when matters turned sour during the start of the first race. The great looking DVB RACING Porsche GT3 Cup was hit during the start and it was over and out for them in the season’s first confrontation.

Koen Wauters: “There’s not much I can add to this. I was caught off guard and the race was over … I hope we can get the car back in top condition in time, to be able to take the start from pole position tomorrow.”

The race held as curtain raiser for the Belgian round of the WEC, the World Endurance Championship, was a demonstration of pure ‘cup’ racing. Koen Wauters took a good start and led the race up to 8 minutes from the finish in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux. His rhythm was extremely good, he kept his nearest rivals at bay and It looked as though he was well on the way to taking the chequered flag, notwithstanding being under pressure from Dylan Derdaele. However a French competitor, who was in among the group chasing Wauters, completely misjudged the braking zone at the La Source hairpin and rammed Koen Wauters off the track. No victory and no points scored … Enough to hang one’s head?

Koen Wauters: “No, on the contrary. This is all part of motorsport and one thing I will especially remember is the enormous progress we have made. Our race pace was good, the car ran smoothly and last but not least I led the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux race. To have experienced bad luck twice is something we have no control over, but we do regarding the work put in. I’m impatiently looking forward to the following races, back here in the Ardennes and want to prove what we have lined up in our further march forward on the 11th and 12th June.

Publicity for motorsport

With near on 30 cars on the starting grid and packed grandstands, these were the ingredients needed to make this a motorsport feast last weekend at Spa-Francorchamps. The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux was a part of it and the full hospitality, the crammed grandstands and especially the numerous smiling faces proved that motorsport can be a feast and that the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux fits into it perfectly.

DVB RACING in action on various fronts during the 2016 motorsport year.

Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux and Belcar: primary competitions.

For many years DVB Racing has been a fixed value in both Belgian and international motorsport. The team based in Willebroek, will be back in action in 2016 in various national and international competitions. For 2016 DVB RACING’s main programme will consist out of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, in addition to competing in the Belcar. The TCR Benelux and the Supercar Challenge are also possible arenas for the team.

In the past DVB RACING achieved various successes in Belcar, the Super Challenge and naturally the fastest one-make cup in the Benelux, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge. It is in the latter competition, which underwent a solid transformation during the winter months, that DVB RACING will once again be tackling in the month of May.

koen

Frank Thuriaux (Team Manager DVB RACING):

“In collaboration with Porsche Centre Mechelen and once again with Koen Wauters we are delighted to appear at the start. This season we will once more take on six meetings of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, but we will be doing that four times with the French Carrera Cup. In two of these meetings (FIA WEC Spa and the Spa Euro Race) we will be competing on ‘home’ ground, whereas for the two others we will be heading on down the Paul Ricard and Le Mans, with among others the French GT3 on the programme and last but not least we will also be competing twice at the Dutch Zandvoort circuit. We are entering a Porsche 991 Cup, the car for Koen Wauters, while 4 Porsche 997 will be competing during four weekends, twice together with the 991, and twice separately. Here four foreign drivers are involved.”

Koen Wauters is also delighted with his collaboration with DVB RACING:

“I believe that for me the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge is the choice competition. I know the Porsche one-make cup, I know the team and together we are going out for another great season. In the Cup what appeals to me is that fact that everyone is equal before the law…no Balance of Performance, no, the driver and the engineer make all the difference. I also love sprint races, where you have to give your all and definitely do not need to take any strategy into account. Everything is closely knitted, and I reckon that with our experience the results will definitely follow and more importantly, it will be great fun! On top of that I will be competing on two brilliant French circuits, namely Paul Ricard and Le Mans, something entirely new for me.”

As with the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge that is on the up, we also experienced the comeback of another legendary name last season, namely the Belcar. Here also DVB RACING will remain active, but with other makes.

“In the Belcar, which obviously includes the 24 Hours of Zolder, we will be back on track with the Ferrari 458 Challenge manned by the Thiers brothers, and where the KTM will also be back in action. The Belcar made a solid comeback and we are therefore delighted to be a part of that revival. We will make our ambitions known somewhat later, but let us say that come what may we will live up to this motorsport feast.”

Apart from these two well-defined projects, the DVB RACING team is also fully prepared to play a role in the Supercar Challenge and the TCR Benelux.

“With the right partners and in the right context we will most certainly be taking these championships into consideration, even though at this given moment there are no concrete plans.”

TCR Benelux Series getting ready for 2015 debut

The TCR Benelux Series is about to begin, with the opening race set to take place on October, 25th, at Mettet’s Circuit Jules Tacheny, in Belgium. Interest is high in the area for the TCR concept, which will feature the unique social media driven qualifying system among other innovative details of the format.

Several teams are getting ready for the new series, which makes its debut in 2015 as a preparation for a full season in 2016. Former FIA World Touring Car Championship independent title fighter Pierre-Yves Corthals is among the drivers looking into defining a programme shortly, as the Belgian also plans to enjoy some outings in the TCR International Series: “I’m currently working on a programme to take part in TCR Benelux plus some outings in the TCR International Series,” said Corthals. “I am considering different cars, but Honda is the most likely.”

Mads Fischer, who is in charge of the customer programme for JAS, added: “Our goal is to have a car taking part in the series opener, run by a Belgian team with which we have close relations.”

Bas Schouten, who appeared twice in the TCR International Series this year at Valencia and Portimao, added: “It was an important experience (to race in Spain and Portugal). A TCR car is a good investment, as you may run it without changes in Sprint and Endurance races, which gives the team the opportunity to be active on different fronts.”

Frank Thuriaux, team principal of Lamborghini Supertrofeo regulars DVB Racing, said:”We have been contacted by some young drivers who want to take part in the TCR Benelux and in some events of the TCR International Series. We are in touch with SEAT Sport and Volkswagen Motorsport and will soon decide whether to buy one or two cars. TCR is the ideal category to expand our activity.”

DVB RACING successful on two fronts !

DVB RACING successful on two fronts !tweefronten

Last weekend DVB RACING was active on two fronts during the New Race Festival. On the one hand the BRCC and the Belcar Trophy with the Ferrari 458 Challenge of Scuderia Monza by DVB RACING and on the other in the Supercar Challenge with an KTM X-Bow RR.

The team and the drivers can look back on a highly satisfying weekend. In the BRCC the Thiers brothers were once again on the podium with their second place behind the Belgium Racing Porsche while in the Belcar Trophy they achieved a good score with a fifth place overall behind the three Prototypes and the Belgium Racing Porsche.

Frank Thuriaux: “The car had just been rebuilt following the painful crash at Spa during the second round of the BRCC. In fact the free practise session was more a roll out for the car that still needed its ideal set-up. As such it was a question of looking and during the qualifying it was difficult to find a free run due to the heavy traffic and therefore we did not want to take any risks. After a brilliant start Frank Thiers was soon up into second place within the BRCC and during the race we were constantly running in second and third position. Near the end of the race a slight panic set in when Hans brought the Ferrari in for a reset following a minor electronic hitch. Our pit stop strategy was well thought out and after five laps during a code 60 we brought the car in for the first of the two mandatory pit stops. Near the end of the race, and seeing that the Belgium Racing Porsche was too far ahead, we decided to consolidate and opt for the points of 2nd place. Having set-off from 9th place overall on the grid and 4th in BRCC we are definitely highly satisfied with our 5th place overall and 2nd in the BRCC. The outcome is that we are now lying in 5th position in the intermediate rankings of the Belcar Trophy, 5th place in the BRCC drivers’ championship and 2nd in the BRCC Cup”.

The KTM X-Bow RR manned by the Xavier Mezquita / Reinier Weishaupt duo was normally foreseen in the GTB Division of the Supercar Challenge, but as the car does not belong there it was slotted in to the Supersport by the organisers. Having started out from the fifth row of the grid in 10th place the duo put in a brilliant first round of the weekend on the Saturday. The KTM shod with slicks charged on up into third place right up until going off at the chicane as the result of a heavy downpour. The duo finally finished race 1 in fifth place. In race 2 the KTM was also heading for a podium, but finally stranded a mere two seconds from the Qvick-Vanbellingen BMW. A fair amount of points scored, but due to the fact that they had been slotted into another Class, and DVB RACING having missed the first race at Zandvoort the Xavier Mezquita / Reinier Weishaupt duo are only lying in 10th place in the intermediate rankings in the Supersport Division.

Frank Thuriaux: “The new KTM X-Bow RR has proved its speed and during the following race at Spa it will perform even better. It is also our intention of entering a second model. There is interest, but interested parties can still contact us. On top of that we are diligently continuing our work in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux with Vandierendonck and Maassen, and we shall also be supporting Jan Van Uystel’s Lamborghini during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe races in Spa and on the Nürburgring.

Well-filled agenda for DVB RACING !

It is going to be a highly busy season for DVB RACING in 2015. The Willebroek based team will once again be competing in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux in which DVB RACING together with Jeffrey Van Hooydonk clinched the title in 2013 and finished as runners-up last season. On the one hand a Porsche 991 Cup is being entered via THEMS by DVB RACING for Nicolas Vandierendonck and reigning champion Xavier Maassen. A second model, namely last season’s 997 Cup is still available.

“The 997 has been fully rebuilt and according to Jeffrey Van Hooydonk remains a stong contender for victory”, Frank Thuriaux commented.
“We remain on the look out for one or two drivers for a very reasonable price tag. Following our title in 2013 and the vice-title in 2014 our intention is to battle it out up front for the title in 2015”.

In addition to the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, DVB RACING as official team will be defending the KTM colours in the Supercar Challenge with two brand new KTM X-BOW RR. One model has already found a driver duo. The BRCC, Belcar Trophy and the 24 Hours of Zolder are also on the books and have been confirmed, but further details will follow in due course.

On top of that this dynamic team will also be present in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

All those interested in one of the remaining available seats should contact DVB RACING via dvbracing@dvbracing.be or +32 484 92 34 70.

All those unable to wait until the beginning of the season to admire these gorgeous and fast machines can, as from Friday through until Sunday come across them in Hall 11 at the European Motor Show Brussels, in other words the Brussels Car Show at the DreamCars Exhibition.

In addition to some exclusive makes, sports cars, competition cars and other specialised stands, amongst which Circuit Zolder, DVB RACING in collaboration with KTM also boasts a place in the DreamCars Exhibition hall.

DVB RACING and KTM are out to place their new product in the spotlights and with a view to the coming season welcome potential KTM clients, both for competition cars as also road legal versions.

These exclusive fast KTM machines are available for hire for track days and taxi runs with sponsors on the Zolder and Spa-Francorchamps circuits, brochure available upon request.

In 2015 DVB RACING as official team with works support from KTM !

ktmnieuwsIn 2015 DVB RACING as official team with works support from KTM !

For DVB RACING the 2015 season bodes well. The Willebroek based team acquired two brand new KTM X-BOW RR and as official KTM team will also receive the official support from the Austrian manufacturer. In addition DVB RACING will also be able to count on a professional driver who will act as coach and support the drivers during the race weekends.

DVB RACING, last season title defenders in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux with Jeffrey Van Hooydonk and Koen Wauters, was also in action in the BRCC with the KTM X- BOW Clubsport and the Thems Racing Ferrari 458 Challenge. The team have largely completed their homework and will be able to offer their clients a highly competitive and budget friendly service for the coming season.

Frank Thuriaux: “We have acquired two brand new and specially evolved KTM X-BOW RR for DVB RACING and these will be highly competitive. The priority will be focussed on the Supercar Challenge in the GTB division, and these cars should be in contention to win races or at least clinch a podium place on each circuit in this division. Eight weekends of two races each is the perfect format. In the final round of the BRCC held during the Belgian Masters at Circuit Zolder a KTM recorded a lap time of 1’36”. This new car, developing 360 bhp for 810 kg and with improved aerodynamics, brakes and suspension is definitely faster. There is official support from Austria and should they so wish drivers and potential drivers can receive coaching from a professional driver, whose name will be revealed shortly. Ideally the car also lends itself to track days and taxi runs with sponsors and is extremely budget friendly. This offers drivers an additional opportunity to prepare fully and to clock up additional mileage during the season. We are presently on the look-out not only for young talented drivers, but also gentlemen and professional drivers”.

In the past DVB RACING was active on various fronts and in 2015 nothing will change.

“It goes without saying that the KTM car lends itself to other championships also”, Frank Thuriaux continued. “Notwithstanding that the Supercar Challenge remains our priority, both cars would be perfectly legible to compete in the two Belcar events that Circuit Zolder is organising next season. And seeing that such cars as the Porsche GT3 Cup and Ferrari 458 Challenge will be taking on a leading role, the KTM will also be in a position to compete up front. In addition DVB RACING also has two Porsches at their disposal, the 997 Cup and the 991 Cup, which will under normal conditions once again be entered for the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux. In this event Jeffrey Van Hooydonk and Koen Wauters finished respectively second and third, whilst one year earlier we won the title,” a highly enthusiastic Frank Thuriaux concluded.

DVB RACING is impatiently awaiting the arrival of the two new KTM machines, which will then immediately be put to the test and fully prepared for the 2015 season.
